Extreme Temperatures -40° Natural Gas Regulator Safety Devices The Safety Valve is activated in case of overpressure exceeding 45 mbar. The excess flow is released to the atmosphere through the vent. VSI (OPSO) – O Optional Activated only when the safety valve can no longer handle the excess flow in the event of a significant peak in operating pressure. The Flow Limiting Device is triggered in the event of insufficient pressure supply (default in the distribution network) or excessive flow (accidentally disconnecting a household appliance). Available for all S1 Regulators.
