Cavagna Group has joined the “Global Compact”, a United Nations initiative, and has integrated the Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environmental protection and anti-corruption into its strategic vision, corporate culture and daily activities. In addition, it supports the broader development goals set by the United Nations in general.
The Ten Principles are as follows:
- To support and respect internationally declared human rights and spheres of influence.
- Not tolerating human rights violations
- To protect the right to unionize and freedom of collective bargaining
- Preventing all forms of forced and compulsory labor
- Supporting the effective elimination of child labour
- To prevent discrimination in employment and professional practice
- Adopting a precautionary approach to environmental issues
- Developing initiatives to increase environmental responsibility
- To encourage the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies
- Fighting all forms of corruption
